Community Guidelines For Business Blog

Built To Help You Grow

Community guidelines are to make sure we facilitate the correct content for our business blog and to keep the content on the right track.

We want people to be able to come and participate in a rich discussion and come away with quality information on the business topic that concerns them. This is a common sense site. If you really are not sure if your post is going to be acceptable for others to view, do not post it. Your hesitation is probably a correct indicator. This is a business blog and should be kept all business.

More specific community guidelines are as follows:
Stay On-Topic

Be sure your topic matches the general theme of the channel. For example, all discussions on working capital should pertain to working capital. Not sure if you’re posting to the right channel? Check the channel’s About section, or recently-added discussions to get an idea of what subjects are appropriate.

No Self-Promotion

A discussion or comment that contains only a link to your blog, a product, or your article on another site will almost always be removed.

Choose Your (Curse) Words Wisely

Comments that contain profanity are automatically held for moderator review before being posted. Depending on the context of the comment, it may be removed. Profanity used to insult, antagonize, or inflame will always be removed.

Treat others as you would like to be treated

Personal attacks and harassment will not be tolerated. Sexist, racist, misogynist, homophobic, and broad, offensive generalizations about groups of people are simply not allowed. Comments or discussions written intentionally to provoke will also be removed.

Don’t Copy and Paste

If you didn’t write it, or haven’t properly cited the article you’re quoting, don’t post it. We run a plagiarism checker and will most likely remove your post.

English Only

We currently only support English-only discussions on Confirm Capital/Disqus channels. Non-English comments and discussions will be removed.

Confirm Capital will monitor this site for violations but please speak up if you see something that is in violation. We can not always have an immediate response to a comment. If you see something that needs removal, email us at We believe in a community that can help each other and alert each other.
